Privacy Policy

Our games use your device's camera to detect hand, face, body, and nose positions. Video frames stay on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit camera footage. The computer vision models run locally in your browser via WebAssembly (MediaPipe). When you leave a game page, the camera stream is stopped.

You control camera access through your browser's permission prompt and can revoke it at any time from your browser settings.

Signing in uses OAuth with Discord or Google. We receive your provider-supplied user ID, display name, avatar URL, and (for Google) email address. We store these in our authentication database (Supabase) so we can show your name on leaderboards and link your scores to you across sessions.

You can change your displayed nickname in the user menu. To permanently delete your account and all associated scores, email contact@cvgames.io.

Each time you finish a run, we save the game, your score, your display name and avatar (so they appear on the public leaderboard), the provider you signed in with, and — for National 67 War — the country you chose to represent. Scores are visible to everyone on the leaderboard.

By signing in and submitting a score you agree your display name and avatar may appear on public leaderboards.

We record anonymous page views (path, anonymized session ID, referrer, timestamp) to understand which games are played and which pages are visited. If you are signed in, your user ID is linked to the page view so we can deduplicate visits. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

If you choose to support the project, payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. After a successful checkout, Stripe sends us a checkout session ID which we associate with your account so we can display a Supporter badge. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself: https://stripe.com/privacy.

We use local storage to remember your mute preference and your selected country for National 67 War. Supabase sets cookies to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Scores and account data are retained until you ask us to delete them. Analytics page-view rows are retained indefinitely in aggregate form. Deletion requests: contact@cvgames.io.

cvgames.io is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed in, please contact us and we will delete the account and associated scores. If you are between 13 and the age of digital consent in your country (e.g. 16 in some EU jurisdictions), please use the site only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Email us at contact@cvgames.io and we will respond within 30 days.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the homepage. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
